Safety Promise

As you prepare to attend The NGA Show, please know that we’ve made some updates to follow the guidelines issued by the CDC, state and local officials. Ensuring the safety of all exhibitors, attendees and staff on-site is our top priority, so we’ve developed a full health and safety plan to do just that. Additionally, we are working with our travel partners, venues, and hotels to provide you with a safe and productive environment for you to conduct business.

We expect all individuals will think carefully about any risk they may pose to others and to make informed choices about travel as well as onsite and external engagement.

The NGA Show is complying with all local, state, and federal regulations, order and guidelines for this event, and have implemented preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 at this event. However, because COVID-19 is highly contagious, the NGA Show cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.

It was announced on February 10, 2022 by the City of Las Vegas that masks/face coverings will no longer be mandated for indoor spaces in Las Vegas. Since the onset of COVID, the NGA Show has complied with all local, state and federal regulations, and we will continue to do so. Based on this announcement, masks/face coverings will no longer be required for entrance to the 2022 NGA Show. However, while the State of Nevada/City of Las Vegas no longer requires it, all of our show participants are welcome to wear a mask and we will provide disposable and/or reusable face masks for all who need them.

To satisfy the NGA Show Right of Entry requirement, each attendee, exhibitor, and staff member will have to complete a two-step process to gain access to The NGA Show. The two steps are:

Step 1: Safe Show On-Site Validation
  • Show participants can bring their vaccination record (paper or digital versions that match their ID) which shows full vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test as described above, to one of two vaccine verification counters that will be located just prior to the NGA Show Registration Counters in both the Caesars Forum Convention Center.
  • At the vaccine verification counters, registrants will present their photo ID and their vaccination record for review by NGA Show staff.
    • As an alternative method, we have partnered with the CLEAR app to fast track the verification of your vaccine status. We recommend downloading the app prior to your arrival, instructions can be found HERE.
  • If all criteria are met, the registrant will receive a wristband.
Step 2: Safe Show Badge Pick Up
  • Registrants will present their wristband as proof of vaccination or negative test to a registration staff member for badge pickup
  • Once a registrant has received their NGA Show badge, they are free to participate in all NGA Show activities.
COVID Testing at NGA
Covid testing for the NGA 2022 show will be located and conducted at the front entrance of the Caesars Forum Convention Center directly across from the built in registration counters.

The NGA Show has adopted a “COVID Vaccination or Negative Test” approach for all attendees, exhibitors, visitors and staff.  This means that in order to gain access to The NGA Show and associated events, all participants will have to provide (a) proof of their COVID-19 “full vaccination” or (b) results showing a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to such participant's arrival to the Show. "Full vaccination" means that the participant has received the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use by the United States Food and Drug Administration or by the equivalent authority in a participant's country of residence.

The following protocols will be in place during The NGA Show:
  • Face masks will be available in the registration area for those who need one.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout The NGA Show event areas, including occupied meeting rooms.
  • There will be frequent cleaning and sanitizing of public areas with attention paid to high-touch points.
  • Entry doors will be set in an open position to reduce guest contact with hard surfaces.
  • Social distancing measures where applicable will be applied and indicated with signage.
  • Multiple registration areas provided to avoid crowding.
All attendees, exhibitors, and staff should:
  • Not enter The NGA Show if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19;
  • Wash hands often with soap for at least 20 seconds and/or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer;
  • Avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouths with unwashed hands.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why is The NGA Show insisting on full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative test?
  • After careful consideration and consultation with internal and external health and safety experts, show management has determined that The NGA Show can be the most robust, productive, and safe conference and exhibition possible by requiring vaccinations or proof of negative test for entry.
Do I need to bring my original vaccine card for entry?
  • No, you may bring an electronic copy of your vaccine card if you wish.  The name on the copy of your vaccine card must match the name on your ID.
Is COVID-19 testing required at any point during the conference?
  • No, testing will not be required during The NGA Show, except for those who are unable to provide a copy of their vaccine card or negative test results of a COVID test within 72 hours of arrival.
Is The NGA Show collecting, storing, or processing my vaccination information?
  • We will not be collecting or maintaining information about vaccination status.
Will bulk badge pickup be available for exhibitors or attendee teams?
  • No. Because each attendee, exhibitor, and NGA Show staff member will need to show proof of vaccination or negative test (via the methods outlined above); each registrant will need to pick up their own badge in person. The NGA Show will have multiple locations for badge pickup, starting on Sunday, February 27 at the Caesars Forum Convention Center.
What if I lose my badge?
  • You will need to show your proof of vaccine or negative test at the registration counter in order for your badge to be reprinted.
What if I have known exposure risk before coming?
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have reason to believe you currently have COVID-19, you should not attend the conference, including if these conditions emerge while you are in Las Vegas. If you have reason to believe you have recently been exposed to COVID-19, please consult your physician to determine the appropriate next steps. The NGA Show is working to provide a safe and meaningful conference and trust that attendees, exhibitors, and will do as well.
