Margaret Soda joined Sendik's Food Markets in December of 2021 and oversees all functions of human resources, including recruiting, talent management, benefits, compensation, employee relations and engagement. She has been an integral part of the executive leadership team leading the health and growth of the 2K workforce within the family-owned grocery organization operating 18 stores spanning the Southeastern Wisconsin area. She is responsible for developing and executing human resource best practices and strategies in support of the organizational mission, vision, and objectives. Her valuable experience and knowledge allows her to be a catalyst for change reshaping the company’s people programs, leading and supporting initiatives that contribute to maintaining a focus on supporting Sendik’s associates and leaders.

Margaret has 20+ years of human resources experience, including human resources management at ConAgra Foods and five years at PSA Airlines where she held the Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations position. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources from University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Margaret is a recipient of the National Diversity Council’s Top 15 Business Women in Ohio and the National Women’s Conference “Most Powerful Women” award.
