ABOUT THE NGA SHOW

The NGA Show

For over 40 years, the National Grocers Association (NGA) has represented independent supermarket operators in every congressional district across the country, and the wholesalers that service them. Also represented are affiliated associations, manufacturers, and service suppliers as well as other entrepreneurial companies that support NGA’s Mission and Philosophy. Today, the National Grocers Association remains the only trade association exclusively focused on representing the independent sector of the food industry.

The NGA Show is proud to announce the continuation of its long-standing partnership with the Independent Grocers Alliance. The Independent Grocers Alliance (IGA) was founded in 1926 to bring family-owned, local grocery stores together under the IGA brand. Nearly a century later, the support of a nationally known brand is still giving IGA grocers the ability to compete better while simultaneously allowing them to stay true to who they are—hometown store owners in a position to meet the needs of their unique communities. Today, communities across the U.S. are being served by the second, third, and even fourth-generation local IGA grocers.

The collaboration brings exclusive content and opportunities to IGA members and all attendees of The NGA Show, highlighting insights, best practices and successes of the IGA membership. Education opportunities include a dedicated IGA education track as well as highly anticipated general sessions and the prestigious IGA Awards of Excellence Ceremony.
