Shannon Clark

Shannon Clark is the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communicatins for Houchens Food Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Houchens Industries, Inc.  Houchens Food Group, Inc. operates over 300 retail stores across fourteen states via grocery, hardware, restaurant, and convenience formats. 

Shannon Clark joined Houchens Food Group, Inc in April of 2022 as Director of Brand and Marketing having previously led e-commerce and digital strategy efforts for Houchens Food Group since September of 2019.  She currently serves on the NRAB (National Retailer Advisory Board) for IGA, Inc. since May of 2022 and is Vice Chair of Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland. 

Before Houchens Food Group, Inc., Shannon held positions as Senior Merchandising Manager at Fruit of the Loom and Marketing Supervisor at Shop HQ.  These positions provided a broad range of experience that touched all aspects of the product life cycle from development to customer retention.  Her passion is approaching marketing with a consumer focused, and data driven strategy.  

Shannon is a native Kentuckian, born in Owensboro, KY, and graduated top of her class from Grayson County High School in 2000.  She graduated with honors from Western Kentucky University in 2005 with a B.S. degree in Design and Merchandising. A current resident of Warren County, wife to Derek W. Clark, and devoted mother to Elise and River Clark.
